Hi every one read all the answers on alarm problems, my alarm keeps going off  when it goes off the indicators go as well do you think this is a sounder box fault or something else try taping bonnet sensor down and still goes off would be greatfull for your help

I don't know the answer to your alarm going off, but all indicators flashing when it does is a normal function. :y

power sounder knackered you'll find it beneath the trim that fits between windscreen and bulkhead., directly inline with the steering wheel Its usually the batteries inside that go and whenthey run down you annoy the neighbours
plenty of threads on it here. Replacement part Vxall only about £60 and I think it needs tech2 to set it up for the car

Hi Eddie, Try unplugging it mate, if its still the same at least you'll know that the bonnet switch is fine,

Or simply the bonnet swtich bracket is bent, so the contacts in the switch are only just closing. Ambient temp fluctuations then 'moves' the bonnet off the switch.

Cars in at the auto eletricions to day could not stop the alarm going off this morrning will let you know the out come later

Just got the car back it was the sounder box all hopefully on more trouble from the car or next door lol

Hi Guys

Just joined and i am having the same problems here. My alarm goes off when it wants, mainly when it gets sunny!

I've read that i should try and check the bonnet swtich bracket . Trouble is my Omega didnt come with a manual :( .. So i am nto sure where to look. Can anyone advise once i lift up the bonnet where exactly i need to lool for this thing...

Thanks so much ... once i can stop this horn alarm going off well my nieghbours should be alot happier  ;D
