need some help please

my car i think is under peforming i think its a bit slugish pulling away it doesnt seem to be having alot of power  and then it opens up and seems fine. so if anyone has any info or ansers please let me know. also while im here my sun roof is bust i think the motor has blown are the motors all the same ina all the miggys im thinking of going scrappy and picking one up? :)

now knowing where they are how do i know this is the right diagnosis and if it is how do i fix it and is the part expensive. cheers

If the multirams are not working there is a distinct increase in pulling power around 4 to 4.5k revs.

The multirams, if working, even out delivery of the torque so that the 4k punt is smoothed out.

They operate by use of vacuum and an electrical connection.  Normal failure is lack of vacuum.  theer is a small resevoir tank between the radiator and the engine block, low down to the left of the intake trunking.  Its about the size of a PDA or a chunky older style mobile phone or two.

If you search back the threads for vacuum resevoir or vacuum tank, you will probably track down similar probs with assorted answers and things to look for....   :y

sunroof may just need resetting according to the manual (sorry can't remember exactly how but it is a simple process involving pushing the knob upwards)
