Need to replace drivers side suspension how much are these units roughly? Also was maybe thinking of lowering the car slightly is this poss and if so how low can you take it? I have my tools and cable in the boot so this needs to be taken in to consideration. How much would this cost anyone done it?

Is the MV6 a lot better? its an elite estate i have does feel like a boat so would like to firm it up a bit. How much is MV6 units can you still buy them new?

Define better.

Being rwd, it doesn't need the rock hard suspension of cavmobiles.  And its a luxory cruiser.  MV6 is slightly stiffer/slightly lower.

MV6 shocks and springs available from dealer, or most factors.  If you want much stiffer, consider the 3rd party sports stuff, obviously at the expense of ride comfort

Dont want it silly stiff have my toy for the that just dont want to feel like i am going to fall out of side of car when going round a corner like it does at the min.

Mv6 is a good setup and combination. Less roll than standard setup. I would not want to go harder as ride will be affected.

As mentioned rwd cars can have softer suspension than fwd and still be better in the corners.

Being pre-facelift I would just fit mv6 shocks
