external thermostat
« on: 12 May 2008, 15:58:22 »

Following network q identifying a couple of problems, one of which was the external temperature read out flicking from -13 to -5, to telling the correct temp, they said to change the thermostatic sensor behind the radiator, which i did, but it didn't do anything except cost me dosh.  they said to part & reconnect at the other end of the cable roughly somewhere under the windscreen - i'm asking as i'm disabled & can't do it my self - i do have to have a garage do my oil cooler, so while they've got it, does anyone agree that it's the way to go with the thermo ?

thanks   :y
