Stainless steel exhaust
« on: 29 May 2008, 13:41:07 »

Heres my next question.I have a stainless steel exhaust off a 2.5 elite that i scrapped. I have had conflicting advice off several people including the manufacturer. What i would like to know is would the exhaust fit my 3.0 mv6 without strangling the power output. The manufacturer says i will need a new exhaust and others say i wont. The exhaust has two pipes from the cats then goes into one silencer then the rear box. I dont really want to pay for a new system so any advice will be appreciated,if it wont fit maybe i wil sell it,which is a pity because its not that old

Sorry missed your post, they are the same but the back box has twin pipes on the 3.0 as already said, in any case in would of been worth the risk, good luck.
