As above, Kwik Fit will recharge your aircon for £45 and if they can't (ie its faulty) there's no charge :y

You have to check if you aircon is not leaking, otherwise you will lose the gas again.
Find a proper aircon specialist not the “EverythingWeDo” guys, as these are expensive and most of times it’s not worth the money.

Dont use Kwikfit - they are cowboys when it comes to air con.  Use a specialist - usually works out cheaper!

Agreed. I used to think they were a cheap way of getting a fillup, and that they have an automated machine so nothing can go wrong. However, they managed to strip the thread on my low side valve cap. >:(

Seems they can make a horlicks of even the simplest things.

If the problem is anything more than needing a regas, they'll be no use whatsoever.

I can't believe they'll do a PROPER recharge - vac, test, refill - for less than a tenner !!  If they do its a bloody good price !!!

The info I've found is £49.98 !!!

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10651_productId_266051_langId_-1_p1_38270_p2_31284

and thats only a "top up" ....

:(

(edited to add info )  :)

Had mine refilled from 250g to 950g at Kwik Fit. Thought it was a good service at an excellent price.
