Looks nice and its got cow :y which was an optional extra on a 2.5

i've not bid any higher cos he's not answered my Qs re history and cambelt, and since it dont end til sunday i hope to view it properly on my day off, cos its not too far from me... i hope... he hasnt told me exactly where it is yet

so for now i've held at £1600 til i find out what it might need doing.. insurance wont go up too much either, his reserve was only 1500 so i think he might be hiding something...

I dont know whether he replied to that question thats displayed earlier on today or since i asked him mine, since i'm not the highest bidder i dont want him ignoring me so i've told him i'd be inclined to bid more if i can view it on friday and if its right for me i've hinted that i can bid a bit more...

update......

"Hi Danny, I've got everything else, owners manual, audio manual and some other books. I don't have the service book so I cannot tell you when the cambelt was last changed but I do have a receipt from the last service (feb 2007) which cost £298. However the car was MOT'd today and the garage stated that it's a fantastic car and in superb condition, the car drives great and I would encorage you to come and see it. I am in the M23 area and you can view it at any time.

He's very cagey. I asked if there was any service history and when was the cambelt and tensioners last changed and his reply was he has no service book but he does have a few receipts for work done. No mention of the cambelt and he hasn't put this question up for other people to see. The other question someone else has asked about is the MOT which he has answered positively to and has put this up for everyone to see :-?

well i've been outbid, might still go have a look

he's clearly not owned the car himself, just bought to sell on, and bought dirt cheap since his reserve was only £1,500!

its the insurance that's not doing me any favours.. i'd rather not sell to a member on here, since everyone knows the worth of a GLS, would much rather find a mug who might give me closer to what i paid!! ;D

albeit mine's got a nice tidy engine with relatively low mileage and a nice clean interior...

wasny my first choice, but the combo of dark maroon with cream leather works... on an elite.... with no service history and a cambelt that might be 64,000 overdue!  :o
