Hi all,

Just wondering as the EGR lets in hot used exhaust gas into the intake will blobking this off have any benifits to performance or detrements ?

i dont think it makes much difference either way,possibly a small gain. :-/

Seen posts on here about blocking off with thin home made blanking plates. Cut from coke cans or similar. No massive gains but better throttle response seems to be the best to hope for. Give it a go, let us know how you get on, may do mine if i ever get that far down my list of jobs. Measured emissions not affected if memory serves, but worth a search first.
