Any opinions on the clutch condition etc?
Whats a clutch?

Its one of those thangies that need 3 pedals.....as we know proper cars only have two  ;D ;)

Dunno what kind of cars you've been driving but I've only ever driven cars with one clutch pedal... I guess maybe a Sherman tank has two clutch pedals so you can disengage drive to each set of caterpillars individually ::)

This one has done about 100k

I hope the new one makes the gearchange better, but I guess there's only one way to find out :D

Mine was changed at ~165k, and was still drivable but would slip a little when driven hard. Didn't see what it looked like cos I put the car into a garage.

Not sure if the 2.5 clutch is the same as the 3.0, but if it is you should have lots of life left considering the lower power, as long as it's not been abused. Personally I would change it anyway while it's out and you know it's good for another 150k but it's up to you.
