« on: 23 October 2007, 19:19:07 »

I am after buying my son a laptop....what are your opinions on the best value one for under £400???
I was thinking of the HP DV6529 for £375.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
TIA.

I was looking myself last week - Misco had some reasonable offers on Tosh (my current favourite).

Spec depends on usage...

I don't know about the 2 different processors, as to which is better.( HP or Tosh )
The use is going to be running Powerpoint, Word etc... and Internet access, plus basic High school IT stuff.
