2.5 v6 exhaust ......
« on: 14 June 2008, 12:54:18 »

OK, back box fitted and sorted today, no probs there, but the front, drivers side is still sounding like a tank and I have MOT next week. I'm led to believe that it is usually the engine->manifold gasket or the manifold->exhaust gasket that is usually the problem.

So.... is it an easy repair? (and how)

Thanks in advance

Personally i think the pass side is easier cos you don't have to remove that horrible coolant transfer pipe >:(

So.... to recap.....

Both are easy LOL.

I gather it's an up on ramps job and lots of heat to loosen the bolts off, or is it a case of let my local garage sort it (he's cheap as chips bless him so may go that route).
