crazy seat design
« on: 16 June 2008, 22:55:26 »

does anyone know if this is a design fault or would my seats have been changed by a previous owner, but when i flatten the back but want to leave the single back seat usable, then i can't move the drivers seat back & down because the flattened back 2/3 catches by 2" ish, which seems a bit nuts?

Hi,
I don't know if it is different, but mine is an estate, and I can put the rear 2/3 side of the rear seat down, and still have the drivers seat in any position I want.  In fact my seat is permanently as far back and as low as possible to fit me.

There is a button under the headrest which when pushed allows the headrest to be folded flat.

it's an estate

not the headrest needing to fold, i mean the width of the back 2/3 overlaps into the drivers seat width - big rog is saying that his is ok, so it must be a previous owner that changed them, but then you'd still think they'd work together - all a bit confusing  :-/

thanks for the input folks  :)
