Removing roof bars

Does anyone know how to remove my roof bars and will I have to totally remove my roof lining?

You only asked how to remove, you didnt say anything about wanting them in 1 piece and the ability to reattach  ;D

Thought you may go for body colour, maybe wood effect, or even chrome  ;D

Can you not just undo a small amount of trim to allow access from the rear doors & tailgate just enough to reach in?
When you say polish them, I take it they're ally of some kind & you want a shiney Audi look.

Dremell? Isn't that cheating? ;) I thought half the fun was trying to get rid of the black from your finger afterwards. ;D

If you remove the upper bits of trim then you cna flex the roof lining enough to get to the securing bolts.....this is what I did to fit them to my old ex-plod.
