I have a pre-facelift MID here with black and yellow connectors from a 94 elite with no missing pixels...£30 plus postage and packing if you want it...may be possible to do but not at all easy and not at all advisable...

There are some Kits arround for the Vectra MID's (I believe their the same as Migs) for Installing New Type to Old Cars, a freind of mine did it, but gave up in the end as some sensors were missing.

From memory, Brake Light Test keep fashing up every few mins together with Trip = 0, sounds all a bit messy.

Your better of getting the one for your Car, ideally off the same Type. ie Engine, Gearbox and Rim size, otherwise your still end up having to get it Tech II'd to work propally.

Better off trying to get a prefacelift one.  Unless it is from same car (ie Omega), engine, and gearbox, it will need a chat with tech2.

(minifacelift ones have more combinations, so invariably need a tech2)

If I am to get one in the UK, it would need re-programming anyway. I would want it to show l/100km rather than mpg and also German language (for resale). BTW, can anyone say what code is for tyre size 225/55R16?

The early mids do not have a setting for tyre size, later ones do, but depends on rest of config.

Very easy to fit...no more than 10 mins to get off and then just same in reverse...if you have yellow and black connector (which you most likely will) then getting harder to source a good one...they are prone to the pixels going...

If the same type, then quick to change. May need programming though.

To change the colour, adjust colour of bulbs - be aware that LEDs are not that good on MIDs (or rest of the dash/switches).  Be even more aware blue LEDs are gay.
