TC/ABS light and speedo
« on: 05 July 2008, 12:40:39 »

Hi guys
Bit of a strange on ethis, driving along quite happily then TC/ABS light comes on and the speedo stops working then lights go off after a while and the speedo starts working???

Any ideas?

Tony

Just thought I'd add this, have just put a beautifully restored set of original Ronal MV6 wheels, new discs and pads (OEM) on.

must match your ident code, and must have identical config (engine, gearbox etc)

£125 to get yours repaired.

But worth getting the abs ecu fault codes read, and a live data test

Just had the same problem on my mini-facelift April 1998 3.0 Elite, ABs ECu ident DX, repaired by specialists as advised on this forum. Car is not yet back on road though due to other problems.

I started a thread about my newbie experience getting the ECU out, look back a few weeks or so. It's not easy the first time around, but went back in without too much trouble. I took a photo of the pink locking slider on the plug as it's not easy to see or to push outwards. |I'll update my thread soon.
