[Golfbuddy]

Someone posted, a little while ago, that they wanted a caravan section. Well, I've recently found a new forum that is crying out for members that could be right up our street.

I must point out that I have no connection at all with this site and that I don't know any of the members, of which there are currently 7 including me. It just seems like a good opportunity to join a new forum and be part of something from the start.

Maybe see some of you there and we can keep our dark little secret to ourselves.

Main good thing is that one manufacturer - Swift Group - has staff actually reading and answering questions directly ... AFAIK this has never happened before !!  Be a bit like Vauxhall answering our questions here .. now thats going to happen isn't it !!

I joined there a little while ago and I agree with you, it does have some very opinionated contributors which does tend to detract from the enjoyment of contributing. If there was a forum with the atmosphere of OOF which focussed on caravans that would be perfect.

I had a caravan for 5-6 years and had some great holidays, but, we had one as it was cheap holidays when the girls were really small.
I can understand people getting attached to a dog, cat and even a car mate but not a caravan

After my lot have been living in it for three weeks you only have to touch something to get attached to it. Bloody sticky everywhere.

I think you get attached to the "way of living" rather than the actual 'van .. we change our 'van every 2 years, and use it about 30 weekends + 3 weeks holiday a year !!
