Hallo,
I have dirt on the rad. behind the airco fan, tried to remove it with air pressure, no result.
So, I want to remove that fan, but don't know how.
Please help me.

Another guestion:
Last week when the weather temperature was 26 degrees centigrade,
I drove on the high-way with a caravan, the watertemperature was a little bit above 95 degrees, nothing to worry about.
Suddenly I had to stop, traffic jam, the temperature rose very very fast above 100 degrees, and got a warning by a little red thermometer, for may be 30 seconds.
The temperature went down to about 98 degrees.
I know there is a lot of heat in the engine at that moment, but have never seen this before. It was the first time with the Omega 2.2 petrol  230.000km , 2002 ,and the caravan 1200kg.
I think when the weather gets hotter, I have a problem.
Are the radiators on the Omega's a little undersized.

rads are fine mate carnt get a bigger one in there ! are all your fans working only way to get front fans out is to remove rad and push condenser forward to remove the fans ! update your profile so we know were you are

I had a similar problem recently of heating very quickly in traffic. It turned out that the fuse for the "1st" fan had gone (maxi 30amp - green in compartment next to battery). Basically the rad. has 2 fans - 1st kicks in at about 95 degrees and you can barely hear it, the 2nd kicks in at c100 degrees. It would be worth checking the fuse. Good luck

I had this problem too... When your a/c isn't working does this still happen in the same way?
I reseated all fuses/relays and it started working.

When the A.C. is not on, and the temperature reaches 92 degrees centigrade, both fans( A.C. one, and the other) start working. And they bring the temperature down. (of course)
I managed to shift the housing of te A.C.fan to the right site of the radiator so I could completely clean the front part of the radiator.
A lot of dirt behind that A.C. fan.
I had to cut the upper fixing of the fan-housing, but thats no problem, it is now fixed by an small screw.
I think the temparature control is much better now.
Next week I start to clean all the cable connections  between battery, chassis, and engine, and the fan- fuses.
