At the same time !!!  you take most of the breather bits off to do the cam covers, just clean them before you refit, and clean the other bits as well  :)

Make sure you have the seal for the plenum breather cover, as you may find it's naffed :y

I think its the odd shaped o-ring that sits between the plastic breather cover and the plenum - may be wrong tho :y

Edit - Whoops just realised you have a 4pot not V6 - my reply relates to V6. :)

No worries, you took the trouble to answer and then post the retraction. Without this forum I'd be several hundred pounds lighter!

Well I've just finished doing both the gasket and the full breather/throttle clean out and boy did it need it. however I can't stand up straight anymore. I wasn't desinged to be bent over a car like that for more than 2 minutes! trouble is I resemble Psychnurse's avatar just a bit too much  :(

The good news is it's all working well and all it cost me was £35 in bit's from VX

So a big thanks to Marks DTM Calib and Auto Addict for the How2's and to everybody else who put up with my questions but still supplied useful tips.
 gentlemen I salute you  :y
