X25XE rear of engine picture
« on: 21 July 2008, 14:56:47 »

Can anyone point to, or post me a picture of the rear of the X25XE engine so I can see what problems I am likely to face tracing a water leak. I have had a lot of words about how to, but not one picture that would be far more informative.
Regards

Has HBV or 'Heater Bypass Valve' been mentioned to you? A valve which directs water to the heater matrix etc. Seems like loads of people are having problems with it recently! Replace with new if it proves to be this.

Thanx for that but really wanted a picture of the rear that shows me the placement of the metal pipe tht I have ben told has chafed through and is the cause of the leak. Radweld has done it for now but I would prefer a permanent repair. I will change the HBV as it may be a later problem just in case.
