Oil Pressure Switch Replacement

Quick question, how easy is this to do?

Are there any other threads on this topic?

Average expected cost of having it done by a VX dealer (quoted £70 inc part)

As I remember the oil pressure switch is at the front of the engine and easy to get at :-?

must be if VX only want £70 to change it.  I'd bet on a 15 minute job then with 15 minutes for a cuppa

Pressure switches are rarely more than a case of "unplug, unscrew... Screw in new one, plug in" !!!

Not entirely sure where the switch is on yours but it'll be fairly easy to get to I'm sure... (Famous last words!!)  ;D ;D ;D

Easy to do, sited just to the left of the crank pulley with a single wire connection.

You can do it with the inlet trunking still fitted but, easier with it removed.
