Hmm, could do with a bit more info really. What was
the history of the leak? How much have you put in?
What car/engine is it? Presume a V?
Usually some evidence of a leak can be seen outside
the engine, but it can be difficult to pin down, if youve
Just changed the coolant then it can take a while to
bleed itself of air.
the HBV can be most dramatic and easy to
trace if its wet. Start there. If not your usually into
The V of the engine and if you have just been in there
And not seen any evidence around the oil cooler cover
Plate and t stat housing then your round the back
of the block for the coolant pipe or core plugs at back
Of cylinder head on pass side. If its none of those i
would be looking for head gaskit(Rare) signs, mayo on
dipstick, sludge up the breather system up to the
Plenum air inlet. But if you just done the cam covers
You should have done the breathers as well and
Presumeably would have seen any sludge?
So as you can see a bit more info will help. Profile as
Said on your other post. Hope helps.
