How much???
« on: 29 October 2007, 19:56:24 »

Some of you may have read about this but for those who haven't, guess how much (of our money) the Highways Agency spends to put in a zebra crossing?

I'll post the answer shortly.

No one even near.

The average cost of putting in a zebra crossing is £114,000

That is made up of: £11,000 for designing each crossing, despite their apparent similarity, £16,000 for the equipment and £87,000 for the labour.

Enough to make you  :'( :'( :'( :'(
