SUNROOF
« on: 15 August 2008, 19:06:27 »

I had a problem with my sunroof today it was working ok in both operations ie tilt and fully open , I  then stopped the car to pop into a shop .
When  I  went to start the car it did not turn over first time but was then ok I drove off and tried to open the roof but nothing happened at all .
  I then pulled over and stopped the car and restarted it then tried the roof again and it worked with no problem  :y
 Just wondered if any one else has had this happen

Yeah!
I've had a few occaisions when I've just locked the car and am walking away when I,ve noticed that the sunroof is open-or more properly it just isnt lying flush as it should do-and I know I havent touched the controls. At first I thought it was my little lad mucking about with it but its happened a couple of times now and I have to get back in ,turn on the ignition and then open and close the sunroof again. No idea why it happens-just hope I can keep resetting it!!

Sometimes after a 'failed start' the airbag or TC lights seem to take longer to go out, I guess roof could have similar issues?

If you want me to check for stored codes in sunroof ecu, you know where I am :y

Everything is working as it should be  :y
it just seems to have had a hiccup following the failed start.
 I seem to get weird problems no one else does   like the TC and temp gauge problems which have gone now .
Maybe its haunted  ::)
