My 2000 v6 omega doesn't seem to change gear correctly. Its very slow on the up change and doesn't change up at all sometimes unless I lift off the accerator. No error lights or messages and I have changed the atf. Any suggestions?

I have a 2001 2.6 and have the same issue, it is irritating to say the least.

I have even tried updating the software and that has not helped

Do you find you have to drive very slowly to allow the gearbox to keep up and stop the engine reving its nuts off?

Mine is an auto box, mated to a 2.5TD, I keep hearing about these gearbox software upsrades, can anyone tell me what versions came out when, mine is a 2000.

do you have any more specific information ie slow to change from 2nd to third etc?,any error codes?
