Something aftermarket.

1998 Carin equipped cars have a GPS mouse on passenger side dash, 1999 Carin cars have it hidden.

Mine is a 99 with Carin but the block has been removed (sticky pad still there) and the Sat Nav works well, the Traffic Master has been removed though.

Is it a 99 model? ccrt700, last letter of VIN an X?

99 model then.  Not seen a 99 with it on dash, normally hidden under dash...

Pre face lift 1999 ccrt 700 fitted. sat nav not fitted but am getting the carin set up so would be handy if it is the gps mouse. Thought it might of been something to do with the phone set up. First mig ive had so still trying to find my way round it.

could it be moved from the topside to underside of dash without any ill effect, or do pre facelift ones have to be on top of the dash?
