So they're going to bring in a pay-as-you-throw rubbish charging. I'll have to stand by my bin each night to make sure no one else uses it! Last week we had a sofa fly-tipped on the street. Can you imagine the person that did that paying for his general waste? Er, no, neither can I.

I'm not saying we shouldn't, as a nation, discard less into landfills, but this way will just lead to filth everywhere.

I swear this government has lost its collective marbles.

I agree that fly tipping would increase ten fold and its bad enough now as it is.

I remember when fly tipping was a real scourge on the countryside, prior to central Council dumps and recycling plants.

The countryside is now, in the main, reasonably tidy.  This planned upcock will place us backwards at least 20 years, IMHO......

i heard it on the radio tonight in the car when i was on my way to a meeting, unf****n believable ............I'll re-phrase that it is believable anything is now in this country, Oh and another thing, I heard on the radio, some employers prefer europian workers than British :-/
