How do Merc. Sorry but i think we are having comunication issues. As far as i can tell your power stearing is giving intermitent feed back? Is that correct? Maybe MarkyMark can translate? Is he from you neck of the woods Marky?

Off Topic Warning :

If this is "text speak" as said above .. one assumes it is done to save keypresses ......

Quote
alrite mate cheers .. am c when it happened was steerin ok when he drvin 4um over say bout 10mph then as he slowed it went stiff again ?? that the way mine is  :y

then I make it 161 characters

re-writing ( and guessing at times )

Quote
Alright mate cheers .. I am certain when it happened it was steering ok when he is driving from over say about 10mph, then as he slowed down it went stiff again ?? Thats the way mine is :y

which I make 188 characters ... just 27 (17%) more and it is suddenly understandable !! - also would saved having to write the second message .. !!

I won't try and do the first post .. I don't understand half of it !!

Guess what .. I HATE TEXT SPEAK, and am glad the rules say not to use it ... :)

end Off Topic Warning  :)

As to the problem .. check power steering fluid level and belt tightness. If both OK it might be the pump is on its last legs and needs higher revs to produce a decent output.

HTH

Thanks for the translation Entwood.

My daughter used to send texts like that. By the time I'd decifered it & attempted to reply, I'd receive another text asking why I hadn't replied to the first!  ;D  :y

Another friendly piece of advice if I may, concerns thread subjects which really aren't much of a clue as to the problem - imagine if all posts had similar titles to this one..

So please put some kind of description of the problem or the symptoms in the subject field, then people who have appropriate knowledge and experience may see it and contribute.  :y

Cheers

All true, but steady on he is new. Give the guy a chance. Maybe have another in Merc? With up to 5k of motor at stake its best to make sure you are fully understood, and explain as clearly as possible.

Having said that i do like watching Enty work. He makes me smile. Open the door and he always walks in. We should have ranting section, any rows get moved there and allowed to run their course. Ot u ink o dat m8?  :D
