Whats the best way to get this out on a facelift???

Ive looked in the maintenance section.....didnt find a how to  

Why do i need to get it out??.....coz i noticed the heater wasnt working very well.....set at 22C i should be nice and toasty....but im not...ok im on 'rat poison' but shouldnt be feeling that cold.....anyway discovered with the tissue test and a smoke test the sampling fan isnt working  

Dunno how long it hasnt been working, but could be the reason as well, why ive thought the air con to be rubbish in mine  :-/

Anyway how do you get it out? Remove the stereo first?

Also anything that can be done with the fan.......ie is there a replacement i can put in......or am i looking at sourcing another climate panel?  :-/
