Alarm going off
« on: 07 September 2008, 22:12:54 »

Last night the horn and siren alarm kept going off. So I left tyeh car unlocked. Today I disconnected the bonnet switch connector and now the alarm is still going off but only flashing the indicators.

Unfortunately after so many years of never using it, I cannot lock the car using the key alone. The driver door lock is stuck solid. I have squirted in WD40 and will leave it overnight.

But what do I need to do to stop the alarm going off please?

Thanks

Mark

You could always lock car through the back door, then push button down and shut back door - no alarm set. It's probably the power sounder battery thats packed up!
