brighter head lights

hi all ive got a 1994 omega 2.5 v6 cdx
ive noticed that comparing the headlights to my now dead 52 plate renault espace that the headlights on the omega are not that bright.
any way of making it alot brighter please let me know

The lenses can turn yellow, a bit of t-cut can help or you could fit a pair of projectors

its had new headlights put in from the previous owner
what are the projectors how do i go about getting these and putting them in

They are a straight swop, if the previous owner has not already fitted them as you say they have been changed already, have a look in the parts for sale/wanted or on ebay

looking at the headlights its the lenses that have been changed

dont know if you can see from the photo

Are the lenses clear or patterned? its hard to tell from that pic

Try a pair of projectors then, you will see a difference ;)

Yup, projectors, matched with plus50 type bulbs (eg osram nightbreakers) are not bad at all.

Other option is HIDs, but there are legality issues with retrofitting those that your 94 CDX cannot meet.

Make sure they are for UK market, lots floating about for euro market.

Each light has a sticker that says what side its for, and what side steering wheel is, so for example LH-LH mean left hand headlight off LHD car...
