Hi Guys - not quite an Omega question!
Maria doesn't mind me posting this, because we have been after some information (or help!) for a while, and just wondered on the offchance if anyone knew of anything available. The situation is this.
Maria has an (almost) 12 year old daughter, who suffers from dyspraxia. She is physically perfectly able, but suffers from a (reasonably mild) lack of co-ordination, and some more notcable behavioural problems. Maria is her full time carer. It's fair to say that, taking her anywhere is extremely stresful.
Maria has been unwell for a little while, and is also very stressed out. She NEEDS a break, even if it's only a short one.
Problem is, neither of us have any family, or trusted friends, that could provide us with some childcare, even for three nights.
Question - does anyone know of anything available that could help? Possibly an organisation that specialises in this sort of thing?
Money is not an issue, we just need two or three nights away together, sooner the better...
