2.6 V6 Cambelt change in Nottingham
« on: 16 September 2008, 20:11:20 »

Hi all

Following the recent purchase of our new MV6, I have spent a bit of time going through the service history.

From what I can see it is about due a cambelt change and I just wondered if

A. Is there anybody on here (must be relatively competent!) who would be prepared to do the cambelt for me one weekend for poundnotes if I supply the parts

or

B. Does anyone recommend any of the local Vauxhall specialist garages in the Nottingham area?

Also, what would I be expecting to pay for the work to be done?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

MarkDTM is your best bet in Nottm, he's the daddy!  :y

I managed to do mine (only just) and I have nearly no mechanical experience at all!

I ran into a few issues along the way as you do but they were easily ironed out with help from some very helpful users on this forum.  :y
