If you have to drive in Central London for any reason, don't pull over and stop FOR ANY REASON!!

One of our engineers was on his way to one of our customers in Central London recently and pulled over to the side of the road (single yellow line) to phone the customer for directions which took less than a minute. In this short space of time he was snapped by a camera and has received a Ł60 parking fine through the post along with photographic evidence.

Camera's have their uses but isn't this going a bit too far!!

Absolutely disgusting, this is just another example of the way the Government are going,all they are Interested in is Money

Its exactly the same with East European Workers, the Employers are not Interested in them because they are so good, its because they are so cheep

Where is this Madness going to end

Give it a few more years and the British born and bread are going to be found in places other that Britain.

The only time I'd consider stopping in central London (or driving there at all) is to leave rubber outside Ken's house when I subsequently pulled away!

That would be worth 8 quid or whatever the congestion charge is these days.

Its horrid and stupid driving in london i hate it

There was a story in the paper about a guy who pull out of a street in london and then pulled in to the correct lane and he was giving a 60 quid fine for driving in a bus lane, but he had to cross the bus lane to get out of the street how stupid is that

As always, it's the motorist that's an easy target for lining the Governments coffeurs!!

I must admit, I was proud to be British once but not any more. Unfortunately the madness is never ending and the country is now been run by complete incompetent lunatics. It saddens me to say it but if I had the means I'd be outta this country like a shot.

I know the feeling, have been caught out a few times, and i have still not paid the fine for the Box junction, its going to court

Kent is fine ....Its just all the roads leading to and from it that are a problem

i used to do multidrop in london. and westminister and camden are the worst boroughs in london for tickets, i went back to the depot once with six tickets, the company had to pay of course cause there is sod all places to park esp..in a 18 ton lorry....
