I did notice the difference when changing them today, as the ones I put back in were 4 quad.

Also love the idea of the Dyson to suck out the crud where would you get such an idea?  ::)

Have been reading post with interest and pleased to hear all is now sorted..must say I agree with SP_3.2 as it does look like you had a mixture of 2 and 4 electrode plugs,so if fitted by VX just shows what a shoddy job they do for the price they charge.
Will you be patenting the dyson plug cleaner thingy then ??

They were all twin electrode which is a good thing, dont rate the quad ones at all!

er...am i the only one concerned that plug 1 has part of the electrode insulator missing, which presumably fell off in the boar? And plug 5 shows signs of oil in the plug well?
Interesting that 4 and 6 from under the cable tray seem in best nic.
And is that... Gravel? Crikey, forget silicon grease, you need bathroom mastic to seal them buggers in.

I think we need to be told about the newent oof rally...

Unlikely, generaly small enough to go straight out the exhaust valve.

Of course, it could have been damaged before fitting which is probably the most likely scenario as they rarely fail in that way (these days) when installed

I just wouldn't have been brave enough to use the Dyson. :-? I'd be wearing certain parts of my anatomy around my neck if I did!   ;D ;D
