dash displays

Have 2 display screens on dash top one gives time radio and temp. bottom one blank. should it display anything? (does not have range for miles to put petrol in and does not have cruise control). Very basic :-?

Pretty sure it doesn't display anything on the basic models (like mine).  Think it shows the traction control warning light and maybe a few others.  If you read your manual it will tell you.  If you have an aftermarket cd player you're likely to get even less functions with a TID (Triple Information Display).

GLS has half height TID - LCD bit displays radio/time/temp. Bottom half is just plastic, though may have 2 warning bulbs in

My GLS has a lot of the pixels not working.

Can they be fixed.?

More hassle than it's worth.  Think you can get them working again by cleaning the film at the bottom but to be honest you'd be better getting a second hand one from ebay or the selling section.
