DIS Pack?
« on: 05 October 2008, 18:59:09 »

Quick question? (Before I launch into my issues! :-) )
When a DIS pack goes (is going) does it just fail, or is the failure gradual?

Bugger! Ok. Dreading the worst now..
The misfire IS intermittent, and not all the time.. Did 50 mile today with no miss atall..
But... And this is most probably total coinsidence, but an ABS sensor is on it's way out, and I sometimes get the ABS and TC warning lights on.. When this happens, I rarely get a miss fire.. Possible? or just coinsidence?

AKA limp mode.
Clean all 4 wheel speed sensors
front 2 are in the brake back plate dead easy to get at !
rear pair are inboard
Does your speedo work ok
if so front is playing up
speedo not working could be ABS module
Bugger of a job

I'll get the jet spray out tomorrow, and see what happens.. I hope it's something simple like that! I changed the DIS pack on the last one I had.. Man that was a bugger...

(Thanks for the quick responses!!!  :y )

The ONLY error I get is
135   Telltale (Checklight) Voltage Low
Now I thought that was the EML itself...
