its a 99 face lift by the way.   paper clip test def not working have just checked the dash warning light bulbs and are working, it has the car symbol with spanner through it but not a peep. The engine symbol comes on but and goes out when paper clip added after ignition is turned on, but no flashing, which light flashes on these?

Aux belt off. move cable tray. undo camcover nuts. remove camcover. unplug connector on sensor. remove bolt holding sensor. :y

by gas i mean accelerator pedal, not lpg ;D ;) let it rev out on a part throttle and its not to bad, but boot it and it stutters like your stamping on and off the pedal.
