And any update today?

Yes
Still no money  :(

Checked account numbers, Boss says it has been returned in to their bank..I phoned my bank and they said we have not received it and we would not send a BACS payment back because we understand its wages..

Funny thing is that everyone else has been paid only me no money..
When talking to  Natwest customer services which is my bank he did mention was it from HSBC, I said yes but did not question hime about why he asked.

I have requested from my boss that 2 weeks wages to be available to me at the latest ofn Friday or im walking..

I dont think these people realise the effect it has on you when something like this happens. I had a similar experience not long ago and my employer (Barnsley Council would you believe) swore blind it was the banks fault. The bank swore they hadn't had the money.

I felt like a bleedin beggar ringing round asking for MY wages. >:(

Remember Russ if there are any charges etc applied to your account because the cash ain't there you are within your rights to present the employer with the bill.
I'm thinking mortgage/overdraft charges etc.

You pay tax and national insurance when working - if you lose your job and claim you are having your own money back - do not think yourself wrong for claiming back what you paid.

I feel for you spongebob. I had the same problem with my new employer. They paid me £180 instead of nearly £1000 this month first pay packet. After canceling all my direct debits with the bank (Natwest) and further digging (as the payroll department had said the Inland Revenue had stated that I hadn't paid enough income tax) and talking to my dad (who has an MBA in payroll) and giving him the figures he saw it straight away £808 minus £885 shows that I had only paid £77 in tax this year. So PAYROLL had only keyed in £77 not £771 thus £808 paid in Tax.
After showing this to my Manager and contacting payroll, payroll admitted there mistake and rectified the lack of wages immeadiatly and gave me a £500 advance until I get paid again at the end of the month. Result I thought then I have asked them to right an appology letter explaining that it was there clerical error (as my credit ratining will be screwed).  :y :y
