Correct me if I'm wrong but won't the code 19 come up every time anyway?? Due to car not starting??

The code 144 is probably more pertinent being "Immobiliser No Signal " ??

I would go back to basics, checking connections to battery, try strating with your spare key etc etc

Just my thoughts

Nope, 31 is the standard code for a non running engine, 19 is a crank sensor bad signal. Immobiliser codes are often flagged under crank sensor faults.

The crank sensors are easy to fit, where abouts in Nottingham are you?

Tried and tested all connections fully charged batt and tried both keys still comming up with same 3 codes

I would have thought the same regarding code 19 as the engine not running. It wants to start its killing me

Oh yeah sorry I'm talking out my backside...battery is for central locking lol but reset procedure may well re synch the key fob right? Thus being able to turn off immobiliser...
For future ref, no. transponder isn't rolling code, so no resync necessary or possible.
