Driver Hanbooks
« on: 08 October 2008, 22:15:43 »

Just recently bought a MV6 3.0L (2000) and over the moon with her. However I have been given the handbooks for the face lift model! (did'nt find that out till I got home  :'()  I have spent the last week or so reading the posts on the site to get an understanding of the beast (which have helped a lot) but would really like to know:- Does anyone have the hand books for the beast and how do I access the stored recorded codes if any  :y

i believe handbooks can be downloaded from vx web site and or ordered from vx same as any other part, no personal experiance of either though...
car pass i think needs proof of ownership and a chat with the dealer also, you will need that for extra keys and radio codes if battery disconnected as you probably know...
can anyone confirm this is best thing to do?

the carpass off vauxhall is between 15-50 pounds i believe (it varies between dealers) because they are pants :P lol
theres a price list of tech2 stuff on here or vxon.co.uk
think it's a tenner for a key recoded
not sure without checking but it gives vx prices for example too to compare against ;)

Ryedale garages in kirkbymoorside, n yorkshire is an excellent dealer, good service. £15 for car pass, takes a day or two to arrive. Is your radio working??

Congrats on the purchase, get some snaps up in the gallery!  :y
