selector switch

does any one know if the selector switch is  the same on all the petrol boxes ???

Its the same on ALL the boxes.....including the Uk tractor

cool thanks its just the auto gearbox thing came on and all the light on the shifter lit up like a christmas tree took it to the garage and that what they said it was. fingers crossed

cool thanks just waiting for the garage to call and tell me that it is ready to collect. bet you they are doing to tell me the box needs a service lol

Got a known good one here if your needing a replacement...but try cleaning first :) (although may be worth having a spare anyway??)

collected the car from the garage and its doing to same thing  :-[
every thing is lighting up like a christmas tree the light P R N D 3 2 1 al light up at the same time. and then the light comes on. any thoughts

they told me that the selector switch had gone so i got a used one off ebay gave it to them and they fitted it. £100 just to tell me what wrong and fot a new one  :'(

ive never had this problem myself [about the only one i havent had!] but perhaps the blue plug by the battery has got knocked or got damp in it, ive heard of this plug has caused problems with others so worth checking, 3 round plugs by the battery, one has a blue socket, check that just in case.
