I listed one of my Nintendeo Wii's on eBay:

We have removed these listings and will credit all fees to your account because it has come to our attention that the items were bought without the account owner's authorisation. We are now restoring the account to its owner.

Please be assured that there is no negative mark on your account because of this. We only removed your listing so that we could credit all of your Insertion and Final Value Fees and prevent any further problems arising such as Unpaid Item disputes or negative feedback.

i got a fake phising email after the bidder won asking me to log in.

Looks like someone got scammed, and his account was used to bid and win my item...

i have settings in place to stop that happening

my adverts stay live until i recieve payment, so even if a scammer/hacker uses someone's account to buy my stuff, they still have to pay!!

Tunnie, I think Mikedundee is too generous. I'll give you a tenner for one, but only if you deliver, and set it up for me....

I wouldn't mind one at that price, my daughter keeps nagging me for one, but i know she will get very bored with it after a while, so i said why don't you have a Nintendo DS lite so i might get her one if i can find one cheap enough....

well tonight i find out scammers are everywhere and all of us are vulnerable!

i get home to find a hacker has listed 9 fake gucci bags on my ebay account!

they've been removed and i got a warning, i've contacted ebay, and also changed all my passwords but i think they do it a different way, as they havent messed with ANYTHING else to do with me or my account, just listed dodgy stuff

Not that ive been scammed on ebay......but if you have a paypal account linked to ebay....make sure your password is different   :y

If a scammer manages to get your password for ebay and you use the same for paypal.....paypal stores your card numbers......therefore....empty account before you know it  >:(

i'd set my own two listings to recieve the payment immediately, and to my brother's paypal as i dont have one

for the phone i actually sold today, payment has gone to his account, and nothing seems fishy relating to the dodgy bag scammer, but the buyer of the phone although having good feedback, has an unconfirmed address so i've messaged them first and am waiting for a reply
