Hi all

my 2002 omega fuel gauge gone mad, sometime it works just fine but sometime it drops dead and show zero content with the letter F on trip computer, would it be the gauge itsself or the sender or the wiring, anyone has expierianced this before?

I've tried to fix this twice now by mending/improving connections in the dash, without success.  Starting to think it must be a worn-out patch on the tank sender's widgetry.  Unfortunately, the towbar installation on ours part-covers the inspection hatch for access to this stuff.
