3.2 poor running

hi there my name is james i own a 3.2 v6 51 reg omega i wondered if new anything about the problem i am having the engine seems to be running really lumpy on idle but when you rev it it is ok and when i start it on a morning from cold there is a knocking in the engine and seems to have lost it's get up and go dont get me wrong still goes well but not as well if you know what i mean i thought it might be a coil pack  if you could help me it would be appreciated

Best thing to do is fill in your User CP details by adding your location, maybe there are members that are local that could help out.  :y

hi James, welcome to oof. As said really, fill in your profile with your rough location it helps directing you to tech 2 members, or whatever, on here.
 But basically, the omega has its own diagnostic built in to the car for the engine ecu. It will flash out the error codes on the dash board and from that we can tell whats up with the old girl. Basically follow the link posted above for the how to, you need the pedal trick,  post up the 4 digit codes.
