Climate bulbs
« on: 17 November 2008, 18:29:23 »

Hi guys. I thimk i remember reading somewhere (possibly how 2??) that there are only 5 bulbs in the climate control panel. Well on mine the following are and are not working.

ARE WORKING

+ & - on left side temp up and down, auto/off/fan up and down, and temp set (18,19,high etc) on the right.
ARE NOT WORKING

Temp set left, fan speed number, Fan position (onto window, down onto feet etc) and + & - on right hand side.

So is there another problem apart from bulbs there then as I make that 7???  :-/ :y

There are 5. Just accept that ;D

Each LCD has its own backlight (so thats 3 bulbs), all the backlighting of the buttons are done with 2 bulbs via lightguides.

The Auto and the direction amber LEDs are LEDs and cannot be changed. Fortunately, they never fail

Jaime is right mate, I went to Vx and they looked at their computer and told me there were 4 bulbs, after I had been told probably by TB actually that there were 5.... turns out there program or whatever has a mistake on it :-?

Change all 5 while you have the panel off  :y
