wright then, can anyone tell me how much of a job is it to change the temp sensor in the pump to sort glow plugs?  is it a pupm off job?
I think its a new pump.  Don't ask for cost, not worth it.
Hens' teeth!
One went yesterday on e-bay for £88, full price equivalent to a 2nd mortguage

i wouldnt dream off changing the pump, i just wonderd if it was an easy job, but it isnt so i will just fit an old style relay set up that just puts the plugs on for 10 seconds everytime ignition is turned on, i know all to well how dear pumps are, i havent got enuff fingers to keep count of the people that came to me with dti ecotec vectras that i had to give the bad news to when i was still in the trade! vx are well out of order for those dti pumps they should of recalled them
