Do you know when they changed? Is it possible that this is something I don't need to worry about failing on my 2000 reg pre facellift?

I've seen 2000 models fail  :'(
OK, will carry on worrying then  ;D

My antifreeze mix is 50%, I am careful with that knowing how important it is in maintaining the oil cooler.

As said of Vauxhall, but make sure you get the KIT at £90ish, not the individual parts at £300ish!

Edit, seen you are local, Lookers at Deeside know the kit you need  :y


handy to know  :y...i worked in the motor trade till a few months ago , so hopefully i can use some contacts to get trade

why not add an external oil cooler?
*cough cough* can anybody suggest any suitable oil coolers for using as an external one...
somebody off the saab forum suggested the c20let/xe one

Around 1995.....and any will fail if the coolant is miss treated....
