Hi all,
Does any one know how hot the exhaust gets. Its glowing red just after the cat. The engine is also missing slightly. Could these be related in any way?? fuel pressure or injectors perhaps???

Has any work been done recently, like cam covers ?
The cats do get very hot but not that hot in general use.
If the wire to the knock sensor has been trapped the engine ignition maybe slightly retarded and running rich, hence miss fire at low RPM and also sluggish upto about 2500 rev's
check the wire from the egr to the knock sensor is not trapped on the right hand bank also check the left bank as well

Not alot of work has been done TO the engine but I i have actually changed the engine and I cant get it to run properly. The engine light came on it it showed crank sensor, changed that and its a bit better. But still rough>
