That doesnt give us a clue to what the postmen are up to instead of delivering mail...

We stll get the junk mail but not the things we want

IU think it is on a go slow i had an ebay item sent to me and it took 14 days to arrive and it was post marked so i know the seller sent it when they said, i think they are taking their time getting through the back log of stuff

Saw a postie delivering at 7.25 this morning.

They don't get any more for delivering junk but it's the majority of the Post Office's business.

Post is on a go slow - they are (apparently) STILL clearing the backlog from the recent strike!

At work, our post does not arrive until just after 11:00 - I remember a time when it was just after 08:15.  They collect at 16:30 now and moan if things are not ready.  What sort of time schedules are they working to?

I think that the Post Office is a total joke at present.  It is the usual story as far as I can tell - privatise it, employ loads of managers who have never worked on the shop floor, pay them very large salaries and an even bigger bonus and watch the rest of the system fall down.

I feel sorry for the people on the front line - the post people.
