hi all been a while since ive been on here, firstly can anyone give me a run down on how to flush the heater matrix ie what pipes need removing...secondly when the fans kick in when it reaches temp they seem a lot louder than normal more like a humming sound, but they all seem to be working fine. ps it must be loud cause even the misses notices it and shes as deaf as a bat...  (merry xmas to you all)

on the drivers side on the bulk head there's two connectors onto like what look a bit like brake pipes in sort of the gap between wheel arch and back of the engine (you'll need to take the scuttle off unless you have the 2.0 and then it's still awkward)

you turn the plastic loop about 90 degrees and then pull it back... then you grab the pipe and yank it off(the loop pulls back from the connector before you can yank the pipe off)

then to put it back on you shove it on quite firmly and then push the loop back over the connector and then turn it (i think from memory you have to turn the connector but not had to undo one in a while)
